A marshal can mark anyone from the board, and people can be sent a check-in link by SMS instead. The readiness view exists precisely so you can close that gap before it matters — it shows you who has not installed the app, who has notifications off, and who has never signed in.
Check-in works over both mobile data and the building’s Wi-Fi, and a marshal can account for people manually on the board at any time. Nothing depends on a single channel getting through.
No. EvaCount does not detect fire — it accounts for people. It sits alongside whatever alarm and detection you already have, and can be triggered by a marshal or from your existing panel.
A single building is usually live the same day: add the building and its floors, paste in your people list, and send the invitations. Floor plans and drill plans can come later.
We store the minimum needed to alert someone and account for them: name, contact details, which building they belong to, and their status during an incident. Data is held in the EU. We are happy to go through a data processing agreement with you.
Yes. Visitors sign in at reception or by scanning a QR code, and appear on the evacuation board alongside everyone else, with the name of their host.
The app and the portal follow each person’s own language setting, so nobody reads safety instructions in their second language. Norwegian and English today, with more added on request.
